Position: Marketing Manager

A Marketing Manager builds that awareness by developing and executing marketing strategies to meet consumer needs — and maximises profits. Working in industries such as Business Services, Sales and Marketing, Marketing Managers are integral to a company’s success. 


They manage internal teams, craft (or oversee) promotional messaging and products, and work to publish or distribute them to the public via media, advertising, and social media. Without the right Marketing Manager, streamlining marketing processes is difficult. 

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Strategise and execute all digital marketing elements, including SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media, and display advertising campaigns 
  • Measure, test, and report on performance of all owned and paid channels against objectives 
  • Identify trends and insights, to provide direction spend and performance based on analytics and insights 
  • Collaborate with internal teams and agencies to optimise user experience 
  • Evaluate end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels 
  • Drive changes to the website architecture, content, linking and engagement, funnel conversions and define ongoing data driven strategies 
  • Brainstorm new and creative growth strategies 
  • Understand the digital marketing landscape and associated growth strategies 
  • Engage in automation and CRM platforms marketing activities 
  • Work to strict timeframes and deadlines 
  • Build strong relationships with core internal and external stakeholders 
  • Resourceful – able to come up with solutions and adapt to new situations 
  • Marketing project management 
  • Contribute to global marketing strategy in conjunction with Head of Product & Brand and CMO and convert strategy into task plan for in-house and external resources 
  • Engage with sales teams and customers to understand key customer segments and their unique customer journeys 
  • Compile and manage budget 
  • Manage, mentor & grow in-house marketing team 
  • Manage external agency partners to maximize value 
  • Measure and report on performance against plan, focusing on ROI 
  • Manage content creation strategy from concept to distribution 
  • Issue clear, precise, and timed briefs for work required with shared services 
  • Develop strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders 
  • Recruitment and onboarding 

Skills & Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or related field 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
  • Proven experience developing marketing plans and campaigns 
  • Strong project management, multitasking, and decision-making skills 
  • Metrics-driven marketing mind with eye for creativity 
  • Experience with marketing automation and CRM tools
