I founded WOW Recruitment with a mission – to prove it’s possible to make clients, candidates and recruiters happy – at the same time. That might sound like a stretch but in just a few years I’ve grown WOW into a vibrant team trusted by brands both in Australia and overseas – and we’re doing exactly that!
When we started back in 2017 recruitment was losing its personal touch – it was becoming a numbers game when to me it’s always been about people. I focus on three simple things; understanding clients’ needs, caring for candidates and creating an inspiring workplace to attract great consultants. This recipe – plus great communication – allows us to consistently help our clients build successful teams that elevate their organisations.
I’m curious by nature with high levels of attention to detail. That means my clients have someone on their side who never stops asking the right questions. About their business and where it’s heading. And about the role and what success would look like. I then take that same forensic approach with the candidates. To me, success is only really achieved when I find the perfect alignment between both.
Around 75% of the workforce are passive candidates – they might have half an eye on the job market but they’re not actively seeking a new role. Creativity is key in engaging with this group. You need to look beyond the standard platforms. You need to use clever searches, smarter advertising and have finely tuned networks if you want to reach beyond the obvious and uncover the people who didn’t know they needed finding. Because of all that I’ve been able to achieve results like placing a candidate into a leading logistics company after three weeks when the company had been looking themselves for nine months.
We’re people who take the time to know people. That’s the WOW-way. And that’s the secret to recruitment happiness.
If you need a recruitment ally working relentlessly for your success then you need to talk to me or any of my team. That’s what our WOW-way offers you. And it’s what recruiting for tomorrow feels like.
