Position: Head of Digital

Primary purpose of the position:

The Head of Digital will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing the digital strategy, ensuring alignment with the overall business objectives. This senior leadership position will oversee all aspects of the digital landscape, including website management, social media, email marketing, online advertising, SEO/SEM, and emerging digital technologies.


Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive digital strategy aligned with business objectives, leveraging market trends, consumer insights, and competitive analysis.
  • Lead a high-performing team of digital professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.
  • Oversee the management and optimisation of the digital channels, ensuring consistent brand messaging and user experience.
  • Drive customer acquisition, engagement, and retention through digital marketing efforts, including targeted campaigns, content strategy, and data-driven segmentation.
  • Monitor and analyse key performance metrics, providing regular reports and insights to measure the effectiveness of digital initiatives.
  • Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies, identifying opportunities for innovation and growth in the digital space.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with teams such as Sales, Marketing, Product, and IT to ensure seamless integration of digital initiatives with broader business operations.
  • Manage the budget for digital initiatives, allocating resources efficiently to achieve maximum ROI.



Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Digital Marketing, Business, or related field.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience in a digital marketing role, with a track record of driving digital growth and achieving KPIs.
  • Proven expertise in developing and executing digital marketing strategies, including proficiency with marketing automation, analytics tools, and CRM systems.
  • Strong understanding of SEO/SEM, social media platforms, email marketing, content management systems, and online advertising.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to leverage data to make informed decisions.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively at all levels of the organisation.
  • Experience managing and developing a high-performing team, with a focus on talent development and succession planning.
